First Shred Day Of The 2010/2011 Season!!

On Saturday September 18 the #2 stop of "The Feeders" rail jam by Lib-Tech, Zumies, Jones Soda, and Snowboy Productions went down in the Auburn Super mall Parking lot. "The Feeders" event is a qualifying competition for the 5th annual "Downtown Throwdown" in downtown Seattle. The three 1st place winners at "The Feeders" events will get a spot to compete against some of the top pro's in the jib world. Next stop for "The Feeders" event is September 25th in Oregon at the Clackamas Town Center so check that shit out!!

Thankfully the weather man sucks and instead of the forecast of rain, we had sunny conditions most of the day until the end when it started to get a bit nasty. But that's Washington for you, and La Nina is sure as hell on the way this season! As soon as everyone remembered how to strap there feet into there snowboard again and took a few awkward runs, people started to throw down and didn't stop until the finals were done! Kraemer Rickman walked away with 1st, Travis Claughton 2nd, Jessie Gouveia 3rd, and I snagged the Zumiez's Destroyer Award. Kickass first day rippin, and one good start to the season!!

You can always count on some sketchy scaffolding set up at these urban competitions

The Zumiez's Destroyer award. I won that sick briefcase to stash all my money and guns in, and inside the briefcase was the mystery prize...... A POWER TOOL that I can destroy more shit with!! Photo: Adam Ramseth

Thanks Krush and Snowboy Productions for getting us on the snow in mid September and setting up some black diamond shit in the Auburn Super Mall parking lot!!

Fall 2009 Highlights

Last winter when I was filming for "How The Northwest Was One" I got the chance to ride a few snowmobiles and after that experience I said I will get a Snowmobile for next winter whatever it takes.... Sure enough this Fall I spent all my money that I earned this summer and bought myself a 2004 Ski-doo MXZ 800. Even though it made me pretty much broke, I could not be more stoked!

Here are a few photos from the "How The Northwest Was One" Premier in Seattle. It was one wild night, and thanks to all the people who showed up and had a good time. The house was packed and it was amazing to see that many people show up for the video..... or maybe the free beer. I guess next years video will need a bigger venue for the premier! Thanks again to all my friends, family, and everyone else who came to support "How The Northwest Was One".

Transworld Snowboarding Magazine December Issue, my first ever published photo in the big magazines... and I'm pumped it's a photo cranking a method! It was a dream come true when I had the magazine in my hands and saw that photo. I want to thank Jeff Hawe for getting the shot. Hopefully there will be more of these to come.

This was the first day at Steven's of the year. It was as fun as it gets, we had a rhythm section to get our bmx style on and that lead into a big fence stall. Great fun way to start off the Season! Hope you enjoy the pre-season edit.
